For our time this morning in the Word, I want you to go back to 1 Thessalonians chapter

5.

For those of you who may not have been with us recently, we are looking at the return of our

Lord, the second coming of Jesus Christ, as seen by the Apostle Paul in his letters to

the Thessalonians.

We are in first Thessalonians.

We started in chapter 4, verse 13, and we're going to come down into chapter 5, verse 11,

and finish this section on the return of our Lord.

This message this morning will take us into verses 4 to 11, but we won't be able to

cover it all, so we'll finish up this section next week, and then subsequent to that

we'll go to second Thessalonians where he has much more to say about the Lord's return.

Now the title of the message, as you may have noticed, is Knight People, Day People.

That is basically drawn from this text itself, as you will see when I read it in a few moments.
