In this edition of Not Just the Tudors, Professor Suzannah Lipscomb talks to Professor Nicholas Orme who, in his new book Tudor Children, provides a rich survey of childhood in the Tudor period from birth and infancy through to the education they received and the work they undertook.

0:59.8	Our guest today is Professor Nicholas Orm, who has investigated medieval and early modern
1:05.5	childhood, but not just the childhood of English monarchs.
1:09.8	In fact, he sought out the childhoods of all manner of children, which has required

1:16.6	Maritus Professor at Exeter University, Nicholas Orm has written more than 30 books.
