already, I am married to Daryl, and we have been married for 28 years. We have eight kids,

ages 13 to almost 27.

I love my name for that reason. So unusual. Thanks, Dad. Anyhow, a couple of years ago, I wrote a simple, mercifully short book on homeschooling

called The Unhurried Homestooler. It might be something you want to go check out on Amazon. It's only $6.99.

And recently, just literally less than two weeks ago, I had a new book come out. It's called Unhurried Grace

for a Mom's Heart, 31 Days in God's Word. It is a devotional

that it has 31 mom-sized entries. And we don't just cover one or two verses. We cover a short

passage. So we really get a chance to dive into the word and then talk about what it is

that how this scripture is applicable to motherhood.

So now that we've got all those preliminaries out of the way, today I have a very special guest.

My husband is joining me and we're going to be talking about how children are a blessing and not a burden.

And we're going to be telling our story of how we ended up with eight kids because we get asked that question a lot.

And it's actually a pretty funny story.
