Summary
This week, Kate gets vulnerable and discusses what no one wants from a childless millennial: opinions about the prospect of parenting, pregnancy, and motherhood. Rather than provide anything conclusive, she opts for a stream-of-consciousness approach about being at an age where decisions need to be made, feeling ill-equipped to make those decisions, and the implications of social media #momlife on her perceptions of motherhood. At the end, she reads through her DMs to share the meaningful input people wrote to her that helped her feel better by showing a more realistic depiction of parenting outside of the harrowing hashtags. She understands this topic is sensitive, deeply personal, and easily spoken about incorrectly.
