0:57.1	abuse. And a big one that we're going to talk about today is the Circle of Hope Girls Ranch
1:02.9	that involves like severe cases of abuse and neglect. We're going to talk about that case.
1:10.5	We're going to talk about, you know, your role, how you, how you just don't have to do
1:14.9	the law, but probably have to be very supportive with everyone.
1:18.3	And I guess, you know, the advocating for maybe, you know, the abolishment of these
1:25.7	places or laws put in place for, so these things don't
1:28.4	happen maybe again as well. So, absolutely. I guess you start off here, like tell us what is
1:35.6	the Circle of Hope Girls Ranch and, you know, everything, the allegations that went on there.
1:42.1	Sure. Yeah, Circle of Hope Girls Ranch was a reformatory boarding school for,
1:49.6	for obviously women only, as the, as its title indicates.
1:55.5	They opened in the summer of 2006 in a small town in rural southern Missouri.
2:02.3	They really, really quickly after they opened the doors, reports of abuse kind of started flooding in.
2:11.9	The issue that a lot of these victims ran into were not being believed or not, you know, when they would report these to authorities or local police departments and local, you know, organizations, they were not being passed on to people that could effectuate change.
