Summary

Dr. Becky Kennedy is a clinical psychologist helping millions of parents rethink how they raise their kids.

In this episode, we talk about the reality of modern parenting—information overload, emotional development, and why being a “perfect” parent isn’t the goal. She explains what truly shapes a child in the early years, how to handle tough moments, and why repair matters more than getting everything right.

This is the kind of parenting advice that actually makes you feel better—and gives you a framework to come back to.

Am I showing up and trying? If I say yes to all those things, I'm probably doing a really good job. The best way to take care of a baby is to take care of the person holding the baby. Do you feel like parenting is something also that comes inherently?
