1:15.9	1834, the Mohawk Institute in Brantford, Ontario begins taking on borders.
1:22.3	It is the oldest residential school included in the Indian residential school's settlement agreement,

1:33.3	1851, Mount Elgin School opens in Muncie, Ontario.
1:39.7	1860, Beaufort School, also known as Ilialla Cross, opens in what is now Saskatchewan.
1:50.1	1863, St. Mary's School opens in Mission, British Columbia.
1:57.5	1863, St. Albert School opens in what is now Alberta.
2:03.5	1867. Constitution Act. 1867 assigns the federal government jurisdiction over, quote,
2:13.9	Indians and lands reserved for the Indians. Close quote. 1867. Sacred Heart School opens in Fort Providence in what is now the Northwest Territories.
2:31.4	1868, Wick Wimicong School opens on Manitoulin Island, Ontario.
2:39.9	1876, the Indian Act consolidates earlier legislation that defined and limited First Nations life in Canada.
2:50.4	The Act becomes the basis for regulation of
2:54.5	the residential school system. 1879. The Daven Report recommends the establishment of government-funded
3:05.3	church-run residential schools on the prairies.
3:10.6	1883, Parliament authorizes the creation of three industrial schools in the Northwest Territories.
