locked on chiefs podcast. The NFL has changed the Kansas City Chiefs

plans for training camp and it's happening right now.

Welcome back to lockdown chiefs. I'm Ryan from RGR football and rogue analytics.

There is news on Tuesday about something that we just talked about yesterday with Matt Derek and I and

we're gonna hear the rest of that conversation about a couple of things on the

defensive side about Clyde Edwards a lair about Eric B enemy a lot of pieces to the chiefs that's coming up here later in the show.

But the change today was announced through Adam Schefter was the one who broke it here that the NFL has decided that it has

told teams they will be staying home for training camp.

Now the chiefs in 2019 were one of 10 teams that went away for

training camp and didn't stay at their home facility. So it has been a trend of

years of late that teams have been going a little bit away from it

leaving town and that kind of thing so it's definitely something that Andy Reed

enjoys I think he likes the ability to get away and get focused and keep everybody on one single

tier without distractions.

This is logistically going to be a little bit interesting and we've theorized about it

over the last couple of days but

clearly before we get into how it's going to be done we have to talk a little bit

about what's not going to be done and that is going to have an economic impact on the city of St. Joe.

It's difficult to see how things were going to work given the COVID-19 outbreak

and how they were going to approach actually conducting training
