We are going to talk about acquisitions today breaking news

from albert brier confirmed that the chiefs are interested in trading with the philadelphia

eagles for a j brown a story that we've kind of denied or poo poohed enough because we just need a little bit more

proof. But Albert Breer on our radio station today confirmed that, yes, the chiefs are

interested. He doesn't know if it's going to happen. And I'm paraphrasing here, but they

definitely are interested in trying to acquire A.J. Brown.

It only makes sense at this point for me because this is something that maybe has changed in the last

couple of weeks. When we talked at the draft, there was talk about it happening then.

And I think a couple of factors are involved in this. B, I'm sorry,

things are stacked up. A, actually, is the fact that pre-draft, most GMs are in their rooms,

working with their stabs, focused on the incoming draft class,

how they want to maneuver around the draft and take care of that.

While trades did happen this year pre-draft, it was, I don't think, anything that required

a ton of really concerted effort to work out.

That's come and gone at this point.
