It is officially game week. We're here for you every day every week. But today we're going to go over a little bit of news and then we're going to take a look at some of the changes going on in the Texans roster and how the Chiefs are going to adapt to it coming up in the second and

third segments. Big news over the weekend and I don't even want to get into the

dollars and sense of it because the the vitriol that I've seen about how Mahomes was dumb to take his contract

and all that in lieu of what we saw for Deshaun Watson, I think is just a little bit far-fetched,

but I think for Chief's Kingdom it should even point out even more

the Patrick Mahomes took what is now being denigrated as a terrible contract in

order to try and win championships down the line.

Absolutely and you have to look at that and you have to say he wants to win.

That's all he cares about it.

He cares about his legacy and that's exactly what he's trying to get with the contract

that he signed because he could have gotten more money.

Deshaun Watson's getting on average $39 million a year with new money under his new contract.

And Mahomes is at 45, but Mahomes is a lot longer. So he's going to be underpaid by the time he hits here four or five probably

Yeah and we'll talk a little bit more about that in the coming segment the chiefs actually put out their first injury report

Everyone was at practice, but a couple of developments.

One not so surprising is that Derek Nottie was limited

in this particular practice, still recovering from the ankle thing.
