in today's story of the day is Patrick Mahomes set to become the first $200 million man in the NFL.

Oh, that's a lot of cheddar.

I'm not really sure how I feel about that right now.

And that's definitely understandable.

You look at what that's going to mean for this team and how that's going to affect them going forward.

It is going to be a big chunk of change.

There are a couple of other things and we will get into four downs in the second segment and then

goal to go in the third segment talking about this upcoming game against the Detroit Lions.

But it was talked about on Thursday by Adam Sche that it is expected that Patrick Mahomes

will become the first player in the NFL

to get a $200 million contract.

Good Lord.

And there's a lot of discussion about just what that structure is going to look like.

There's a lot of aspects to this because new CBA is on the horizon.

A lot of rumor about both the players union as well as the players representatives pushing the league towards more of an

MBA style with a lot more guaranteed money if not completely guaranteed

contracts. I can't ever see a completely guaranteed contract coming,

especially at that size in this league.

I could be wrong, but 200 million, the question becomes real quickly,

just how long are we talking about?
