And today's top story is that injuries are a bit of a mixed bag.

We have a report that Patrick Mahomes is moving around okay.

It is a mild spring.

It's going to be something you have to deal with, but it shouldn't keep him out for any appreciable time, but Tyri Kills a completely different situation. What's your take on these two?

Well, I do think it's interesting. I was looking at Twitter a little bit earlier today and

Patrick Mahomes before his injury and Patrick Mahomes after his injury were

completely different players through for 211 yards I think before his injury and was doing it at like 11 yards an attempt.

Now some of that is obviously skewed by long touchdowns that weren't long passes but at the same

point after his injury I think it was like four yards per attempt so completely

changed the way he threw and the way he played with his injury.

So you have to wonder if that's going to affect the chief's offense in the next couple of weeks.

It could, but I really took it as a, we don't want to let him linger in the pocket and risk him getting hit again

It seemed like they shortened up the throw times the route combinations were quicker

I think it was get it out of your hands and don't take any more risks.

So I don't know that it necessarily bleeds over into the next couple of weeks, but it could somewhat depending on his feel for that foot.
