the host Ryan Tracy and we're going to get to talking about what's going on with the Kansas City Chiefs today

Chris is going to be here in a little bit and talk with Cody Rook the host of Lockdon Broncos

about a crossover and get some inside intel in the behind the enemy line segment that's coming up but for right now some news out at Arrowhead Drive and that is that Patrick Mahomes is on the men big update from him that fact that he got hurt against the Patriots, a hand injury that was x-rayed and came back negative, luckily, so that the chiefs are not going to be without their MVP quarterback. But it was a concern.

He had trouble gripping the ball late.

It actually affected the way that he threw the ball down field

wasn't able to drive and really get that strong release.

So it led to the Chiefs backing off of their game plan

against the Patriots and running more shallow patterns and running the ball more to tell you the truth

and they really had an effect on the output for Patrick Mahomes and the offense in the second half.

Looking back on it, it's even more impressive the chiefs were able to rise up on defense and contain those patriots,

given the fact that the quarterback himself was not feeling very good.

But that seems to have changed today and he talked to the press and this is what he had to say

about his hand.

It's doing better.

I mean a lot of the swillings went out in these last two days and so I was able to throw the football around today and I'm excited to go up and practice and be able to spin it around there, but definitely it was a little scary after the game when it was a little bit

either bruised in the swelling and stuff like that but as we've kind of done more

and more treatment the swelings went away so I was able to throw the football

and everything. You'll do your normal load in practice today?

Yeah, that's what we're going to try to do.

I mean, that's the plan.
