Welcome back in to another edition of the Arrowhead pride chiefs training camp report day 17 a full team practice in St. Joseph Missouri is the final week of training camp and

today did not go exactly how the chiefs probably would have liked to kick off the final week of training camp in St. Joseph Missouri.

So I mean, welcome in the leader of Arrowhead pride Pete Sweeney.

The injury list was long on Tuesday, Sweeney and several can see chiefs left practice early due to injuries, not not a great start to the week.

Yeah, and and what a shame because it was two players that we thought really looks pretty good in the preseason game.

So that includes Nico, Romeo, he left, got a shoulder pop back in.

I saw the training staff doing this in the medical tent and it was confirmed by the chiefs afterwards.

So we'll see what the timetable is on him.

You wonder if this could be a player that ends up going on IR and what kind of see what happens next year.

Maybe that that Ross thing that we saw last year and speaking of Justin Ross, he also left practice early.

Looked like his knee was bothering him in the medical tent, but Andy Reid said it was the knee.

It was the shin could have been the hamstring.

So we'll see and I know that there's been a rap sheet report out there that Ross is okay.

Maybe not so serious. So we'll see what ends up happening there.

And then Amir Smith, Marseille who's trying to drive for this team as a as a kick returner.

I think probably a little bit less serious for him.

He just broke with the crossback up to the locker room.

We'll see when these guys return to practice.

Yeah, so not ideal the final week of training camp, especially for these guys that have been grinding to make the roster all throughout this extended chiefs training camp.

And to get to the final week and get injured is just an absolute bummer for the kids say cheese.

And for these players, I want to mention and we'll get into this a little bit more.

But Andy Reid confirmed the tight and jody fortune is scheduled to have shoulder surgery.
