locked on Chiefs podcast. And welcome back to Lockdown Chiefs, the special

edition Lockdown Chiefs that we're doing for Labor Day.

Hope you guys are enjoying your day off.

It's a great holiday and it's kind of rounding out the summer just before the football season

kicks you into high gear.

Of course, it's out and about so we have to do some of the show over the phone and we're going to talk

about the new additions, particularly with Sean McCoy and what we both think of it.

We'll go through that and I'll end up the show looking a little bit deeper into some of my thoughts

around the league and what still has yet to come.

So that said, why don't we get started?

This is your aftercuts and practice squad episode we are going to be talking about

well Sean McCoy who is now Kansas City Chief.

Yeah I'm still I honestly, and you know, I talked about this off the air a little bit, but I really didn't want them to pick him up.

I don't think it's going to be a major benefit, but we'll I guess hopefully has more left than he looks like.

Yeah I think it's going to be interesting and folks you know hope you're enjoying your holiday

we are doing this via phone because we're enjoying hours as well.

Not at home in the studio, so bear with us on the phone call audio,

but I am, I'm intrigued by it.

The, my impression of his pre-season, I know a lot of folks are tied up on, you know, he had the worst career yards per carry of the obvious career last season and the truth is out there that yeah that is based on the

Buffalo Bill's line that is part of the problem. My opinion is not based on what he did last season.

It's based on how he's looked this preseason.
