The chiefs are AFC West champions for the fourth year in a row coming off a huge victory over the Patriots, a game in which really you expected the offense to dominate or the offense to play well, and they certainly did in the first half, but they struggled mightily in the second half and you look at what the defense was able to do and

they really came out and they really played their tails off.

Yeah, I'd go so far to say that's the story. The game is the defense took this game and we're able to

stand up when they needed it on multiple occasions. I'm Ryan from RGR

Lot to go over a ton to unpack about the good and the bad on both sides of the ball

for both teams and for the officiating crew. So let's start with your big takeaway about how you felt about how the team dealt with

Being up and then having a team come back on them

I think what you saw from the defense is very encouraging moving forward because it shows you that this defense is able to close out games now. I mean I understand the Patriots offense isn't great, but this defense was able to get stops when it absolutely needed to and if it wasn't for

trick plays in a blocked punt New England's not even in this game.

Yeah, that's the big takeaway for me. This game was achieved by the trick plays that did work. I'll give you that,

although I do feel like the second one was a little bit iffy. If you're going to call

offensive passing or finish where it doesn't exist you might as

well call it when it does so there was a lot of inconsistency from the

officiates tonight officiates where they are and how crazy is it that

New England ran out of challenges that really hurt them late?
