Welcome to the show, and I want to start with the man that is the

talk of the town as he should be all the time. And it's been more so this off season that

it's been about things off the field certainly because we haven't seen them but the news comes out that

Patrick Mahomes is joining probably one of the few athletes on the planet that might actually be bigger than him in

LeBron James and it's not anything that has to do with protests or

anything negative it's trying to be positive he's joining the more than a vote campaign with

James and that's a new change for Patrick Mahomes. It's important because it takes

him from not someone who is just pointing out the negative but trying to make a

positive change not only in the country but in the world and I think that's important.

It's very interesting to me too that we now have this confirmation about just what the star power is of Patrick Mahomes and how lucky the the and then to take on something that's important and teeming with an icon like

LeBron James is significant. It puts you on a tier that is seldom seen. It is difficult to imagine that there is a bigger

quarterback in the NFL at this moment, but now you're talking about being an

international start, being somebody that crosses platforms,

crosses sports.

And it's all to get on to the positive side
