Summary

The Chiefs may be the best team in football, but you wouldn't know it by the way they've approached the preseason.  The starters are center stage again Friday night as KC hosts Minnesota.    The Royals bullpen wastes a Whit Merrifield grand slam but lost in the shuffle is Salvy homer number 34.  This is getting really exciting as he closes in on baseball history.  We update his chances.    The original woke Karen of ESPN, Rachel Nichols, is out.  Even her extreme liberal views couldn't save her in the end as she believed a black employee was getting preferential treatment.    Kamala first, then Joe Biden... as both are scheduled to campaign for Gavin Newsom in California's recall election.  Larry Elder is getting his wish.    And local KC media are freaking out about redistricting in Kansas, saying Republicans are cheaters for wanting to break off a chunk of district 3.  What they won't tell you is, this is federal law and it MUST happen to be legal
