From the land of the free and the home of the chiefs, this is the

locked on chiefs podcast. Welcome to lockdown chiefs. It's a big week and they have a

big game coming up against the Houston Texans that had quite an outing

themselves this last weekend. Gonna have a great show for you today.

Matt Derek's gonna join me here in a little bit, but the story of the day is that the

chiefs are full steam ahead.

They practice starting Monday with a full compliment.

Everyone on the roster that is there is ready to go.

No one mispractice and that is a significant step up from what we've seen from them over the last couple of weeks.

In fact, it's to the point now that this is such a rarity.

It's almost hard to believe because they are going to need everybody on hand.

They're going to need everybody able to play. The loss of Juan

Thornhill is still looming. We're going to see exactly how they deploy. And at this point on Monday,

we don't know who's going to make that replacement and be the next player to come on to the roster but we do know

that we're gonna see heavy doses of our money watts and kennel fuller at safety in his stead

because he won't be able to go and if you miss the

RGR film review from last week check that out because there's some interesting

wrinkles in there and I do feel like the chiefs have the guys that they're really

looking for in order to accomplish that task and make up for the lack of Juan Thornhill.

He is a single player that has the speed to cover sideline and the sideline and Watts is close. Fuller is not as speedy but makes up for it with

some experience that I think goes a very long way in allowing him to diagnose plays when they develop

rather than at their conclusion.
