From the land of the free and the home of the chiefs, this is the

locked on chiefs podcast. The Kansas State chiefs come out of the draft weekend

with a lot of developing to do. We're going to get to where they are and where they stand with all of their

graphics. As we get into this episode, Chris went over yesterday a list of the UDFAs that sign I'm going to give you a little

background on some of those coming up later in the show and we're going to start

at the top here in the next segment but I want to go over the fact that this was a challenge this

entire weekend and if you miss the RGR live streams you know we did the whole

first round live we did the whole first round live.

We did the second and third round selections live and then did most of day three as well.

Missed the last selection.

We'll talk about Bo Peep Keys here in a little bit, but for the group

in Kansas City, it went very well. It's a challenge technologically. It is a challenge just

organizationally to be able to communicate as though you were in a draft room.

Not having the draft war room is a challenge for every organization and I feel like not only was the broadcast met with a lot of positive comments, you know, a little bit of shock that things went as smoothly as they did.

But one thing that isn't being commented on is how smooth this draft was for the Kansas City Chiefs. Yes, there were a lot of curveballs.

We'll go over all of that. But for them, being on the same page, making their selections, communicating throughout the day,

especially that day three, when there had to be a lot of cross-country communication.

I thought that was really telling about how well the organization was prepared.

And so whatever you think of the selections,

you can bring it back to the fact

and feel proud of your Kansas City Chiefs

at the organization that they've put together
