The Kansas City chiefs running back stable is officially full.

Now that they've signed De André Washington that contract came to fruition and is

official as of Wednesday and the chiefs have yet another interesting guy to add to the

mix in their committee at tailback.

We're going to talk later in the draft

about how you go about

and what the priority should be about

drafting running backs here in the third segment.

We're going to talk some philosophy here in the second segment.

But right now, the big thing is that the chiefs have these couple of new pieces

and Ricky Seals Jones, who I talked about with Josh Brisco the other day and

De André Washington, who I think is underrated in terms of what he might be able to bring

to the table.

I think the chiefs are taking an interesting look at how they can expand what their

running back room as a whole can do, especially knowing that

Damian Williams has missed a few games each season

over the course of his career and that a 16 game season

in the regular season anyway is probably a bit of a stretch.

You want to have some backups there that can actually contribute to what you're getting done.

I like the way that this room is shaping up because you've seen Washington play against the chiefs in the past and have a couple of nice plays here and there.
