locked on chiefs podcast. And welcome back to another episode of

locked on chiefs. We are back again for another fun show. Today we have a couple of different things we want to talk

about. Ryan, how you doing? You know, I'm keeping it together. I am trying to stay focused on a couple

of the little wrinkles that maybe we haven't gotten to yet this off season.

There's stuff that we haven't gotten to yet this off season? Like I said, they're small

details. We are getting to the dead part of the, I mean this is obviously been the dead part of the year

we have tried to keep this as fresh as we possibly can but there's really nothing going

on and we've talked about just about everything so if there's something that you want to hear from us about this will be Tuesday's show, you know, send us a message on locked on chiefs and you know maybe something we can discuss for Wednesday or Thursday

because starting next week we will have training camp. Oh and it's about time I will

breathe this every leave yeah no joke. But in the meantime, a couple of things that we should probably recap and more about what didn't happen than what did.

There's a lot of speculation about the supplemental draft and the fact that the two most prominent

options were DBs that a lot of cheese fans felt they could make a stab at.

Dayton Brugo did a nice rundown of them.

And in the end, only one was selected, I believe it was Arizona in like the fifth round.

And that just shows you what the supplemental draft really gives you is a chance. It's not

something that you're going to give up a hide round draft pick for. These guys

are always in the supplemental draft. Something has gone wrong.

That they couldn't either finish out their career

at their current school or had some kind of disciplinary action

that kept them off the field for a while,

and they just feel that they need to jump outside of the normal draft cycle.
