Chiefs win 31 to 13 over the Washington football team and see if I think we got a start here. In

the second quarter, the Kansas City Chiefs were looking really like they have been looking all

year when it came to a lot of the problems that they have with the interceptions and the fumble.

And you have the defense that all of a sudden gives it a third and 16. You have Tyron Matthew

going ballistic on the sidelines. You had a complete coverage bust even with Juan Thornhill

in the lineup where there were two pass catchers for Washington behind the last defender of the

chief secondary and the ball goes into Ricky Seale's Jones hands. The former chief out of nowhere.

It's 13 to 10 Washington going into the locker room and then right before the break, Patrick

Mahomes without a doubt, Steve, through what was the worst pass of his, the worst decision maybe

of his career. And then you go in and you have 15 minutes to think about it and you're like,

what happened to this team? How did this happen to this team where they've become one of the worst

teams in the national football league? Then you come out, you have the first possession of the

second half. It's a three and out. Are they really going to lose to Washington? Is that what's

going to happen right now? The defense had a nice day. They stayed with it. They got the chiefs

the ball back. Then all of a sudden, you had Darryl Williams get going. This offensive line that

inserted Mike Remmers in who knows how much that helped, but the run game was better. Darryl Williams

looked great. Darryl Williams gets going. All of a sudden, Patrick Mahomes begins to find Tyree

Kill and Travis Kelsey. And it finally starts looking like the offense and the confidence that we

just had not seen for weeks and weeks and weeks. And you go in the same game in the course of the
