locked on chiefs podcast. The Kansas City chiefs owe a thanks. They have a lot

going for them and they have to take a time to reflect on what's come in the past.

I just want to touch real briefly today on what has come that allow the chiefs to get to this point

after doing a lot of conversations with guys that cover other teams around the

league the legacy of Alex Smith has really gone over and really come to crystallize

after this Project 11 show. I'm Ryan from RJR football and Rogue Analytics and

I just want to start there because Alex Smith has given this team the chance to be the Super Bowl

champions and to be in a position where they can try to repeat and I think the

chiefs owe him a debt that not everybody feels that they can pay back. It's not just that

Pat Mahomes recognize what he's done. I think it's really important before we

start talking about this crossover and we are going to talk with

David Harrison from the lockdown bucks because the bucks are coming to town with Tom

Brady. They will compete this season. We don't know the schedule yet, but we will get to that shortly.

But I think the legacy of Alice Smith has really been blown out by this special.

I just want to comment on it real quick because everyone that I've talked to this week from other teams

guys that blog or cover or beat reporters from other teams they all come back to man I

can't I can't tell you how much I underestimated Alex Smith and what a leader he is and what a

guy he is in terms of being team first and helping younger players.
