locked on chiefs podcast welcome back to lockdown chiefs just want to say that as we

start this this long gap before training camp actually opens and dates were announced I believe 27th is the first practice

That would make the 30th the first public practice

Though we have that long way we're gonna go over a ton of material here in the next few weeks but

want to start out with saying after today happy Father's Day to all of you out

there that are fathers I hope you enjoyed your day and hope this schedule

walkthrough is going to give you something to look forward to.

We got pretty excited about it.

It got a little long winded as well, but I hope you enjoyed your holiday.

And here is our look right now at least, the pre-training camp look at Chiefs 2019 schedule.

We're going to take a look today at what specifically the Chiefs have in store,

how they're going to start their season, we're going to look through their schedule

and see how we feel like they're looking at what they're going to start their season. We're going to look through their schedule and see how we feel like they're lining up in comparison to some of these new teams, you know, with new draft picks and free agency in the whole nine yards.

So I guess we'll start with week one and the thing that draws me to that

matchup is they chose to let Chris Connolly go and he signed in Jacksonville.

So we're going to see him on the field and by everything that I've read he seems to be making some impact

there. Not that he's changed what his game is but they're using him or more ways.

They're throwing him fades in practice and it's partly because he wasn't used that way in Kansas

city but he wasn't college it's one of the skill sets that he has but it's also

because Nick Fols is throwing in the ball for the most part and that pair I think

gives their past game a little bit more legitimacy than we've seen in years past.
