0:21.3	the news that broke just over 24 hours ago, but also the question, what now?
0:27.0	We're trying to answer that question, which we will attempt over the next hour.

0:31.4	A leaked opinion obtained by Politico and since confirmed by a spokesman for the Supreme
0:35.5	Court indicates that a majority of justices are ready to strike down the landmark decision
0:40.7	row versus Wade, which legalized abortion nationwide, or the justices were ready when
0:46.0	the draft was written.
0:47.5	The draft majority opinion in it, its author, Justice Samuel Alito, calls the 1973 decision
0:53.0	quote, agregiously wrong from the start.
0:56.4	Today we have seen the fallout from those words.
1:19.8	So Democrats worried about abortion rights, but also what such a decision could mean for
1:23.9	other rights secured by court decision, including same-sex marriage.
1:28.6	Republicans and Democrats today sparring over which is more worrisome, the possible decision,
1:33.6	or the leak itself.
1:35.9	The Republican appointed justices reported votes to overturn Roe v Wade will go down
1:42.4	as an abomination.
