Hi, it's Susan. I can probably guess what you're thinking. And one of those things is, where's Beckett? Is Beckett okay? Yes, Beckett is fine.

You know, Beckett has a full-time day job. I would go so far as to call it an ultra full-time day job. And with the way everybody's lives have been upended,

it's really not a coronication over at the Graham House. So we're both fine. But for this particular episode, every time that we scheduled recording, she got swamped at work. I decided to take it off of her extremely heaping plate this week.

I could just launch into the story of this woman right now, but you know what? I don't want to. I want to have the conversation. Beckett had discovered this woman and said that she would make a really good episode and we should look into her. And she was right.

And this woman is a little bit different than the ones that we usually cover. There's points in her life that are just, I can just hear the conversations that we're going to have when I was writing my notes for the show. And I don't quite honestly being selfish. I don't want to deny myself that conversation.

And I don't want to deny Beckett the excitement of sharing the story of this woman with you. It's not fair to you, our friends, who come to listen to us have conversations. We're going to cover her. We're all ready to record. We just need to find the time.

We'll have her up in two weeks for our next regularly scheduled episode. I really don't want to go into excuses. I don't want to tell you about how our internet keeps dropping out.

On the last episode that we recorded, it dropped out in unprecedented numbers. I don't really want to wine too much more about how our libraries are closed. And it's making things a little more difficult over here.

I did want to tell you that we haven't dropped off the face of the internet. Beckett is on Instagram as always. And she is pinning things on Pinterest late into the night.

I am the Twitter chick. And we both prop into our private Facebook group, the lounge pretty frequently. And I want to talk to you about that just a little bit.

Ordinarily, we like to keep that group as conversations about former subjects or former subject adjacent with a splash of general women's history.

On Tuesdays, we've always let members to their own horns and share recent accomplishments.

Things that they're just really proud of. We've watched new businesses rise from just a little craft item.

We've watched restaurants be rehabbed and opened. We've watched that cookie company get into business and go to his first events with these amazing cookies.

We've seen new babies lots of new babies. We've seen engagements. We've seen a lot of gorgeous wedding pictures.

And there's personal achievements that people share on Tuesday. Everything from being able to get out of the house or handling depression, job changes.

There's so much that we share on Tuesdays, but we've always done that and we always will. But during this global day at home situation, we decided to open up the conversations to activities that will get us all the entire group through to the other side.

And we said, anybody wants to start a group project? Go for it. So what happened? Well, two women teamed up and they reopened our Goodreads book club.

This month, everyone's reading hidden figures and there will be a zoom. I think it's a zoom book club meeting on May 3rd about that book.
