wedgie, bartender, author, just general, extraordinary person, one of my favorite people on planet earth,

Mr. John DeBerry, somebody we used his mighty powerful Martini recipe in our Martini episode.

I don't know how we did a win, but we did a win. I know how you did a win. I kind of agreed with

the assessment because the leeching Martini sounded kind of good. So I'm not offended.

Terrible start here, John. Come on, man. You gotta put the gloves on right now. Let's get over it.

This guy abandoned you. He abandoned you and a delicious Martini. I said it's the best recipe.

I feel like my recipe and the leeching Martini recipe both kind of one.

So yeah, yeah, for different reasons. Once again, I'm the only loser. But John, I thought your

recipe was incredibly well written. And I just asked, I'm sure you heard the episode, but I absolutely

love the way you talk about people and why they order dry martinis just because they think you're

supposed to order a dry martini. That's exactly right. Yeah, I mean, when I was a bartender, I probably

get in trouble for saying this, but when I was a bartender, people would ask for a martini a certain

way and nine point five times out of 10. I would make it the same way I always make it and no one

would say anything to me about it. And they wanted a dirty. In this case, I would. So it's all in

their minds. So fascinating psychological phenomenon. Nobody even knows what it what it means. But

can we ask you as somebody who has attended bar David and I talked about this on that episode.
