When you're bad, your locker room is probably not going to be the greatest environment in the world because guys are competitors and they're pissed as they should be and they're angry as they should be.

When you're winning, everybody loves each other.

So the Yankees are really good for baseball reasons. And that leads to a very hoppy locker room and a manager that's happy and everybody's helping each other out and that's all amazing.

But it really comes down to they're better. Like Marcus Stroman is healthy like he was in the first half of

last year with Chicago and he's pitching really well. Louise seal as a 26 year old

rookie is blossoming. Carlos Redon is healthy and he's pitching like the guy

they gave a huge contract and that's all the eggs right? That's the egg.

That's the egg that leads to the chicken. The chicken being hey everybody loves each other.

Right. And so this annoys me on both ends because last year it was the opposite with the match.

It was the complete opposite.

And it bothered me when we tried to split the atom a hundred times to say, why do they suck?

Is it this? Is it that? No, they no they're not playing well they're not good enough the

Yankees are good enough and that's why we're watching this team evolve and then it's it's fun

to then say well Alex Verdugo barks like a dog like are the Yankees

43 and 19 because Alex Verdugo barks like a dog no are they 43 and 19 because

they're really good.

It's also fun every day to go to the locker room or clubhouse

and know that your name is always going to be in the lineup card

and not sitting there on your car going,

am I playing today?

Am I not playing today? I think that's fueled a lot of this too. It definitely helps. The egg is always first.

Or egg came first. Well but somebody had to lay the egg but it wasn't a chicken.
