Hi guys, how are you? Welcome back to my studio by the sea for another episode of Sunset.

I'm Nick Chucane and for the next 60 minutes you can forget the madness that's happening outside your front door

and take a bit of time off and join me for some eclectic, emotive, electronic music.

Now I've got quite a bit of new stuff to play you this week for the first time in a while,

but the first 15 minutes or so I wanted to dedicate some time to an absolute legend that we sadly lost this week.

In Americoni was a giant of the movie soundtrack and film world guys.

An Italian composer, orchestrator, conductor and trumpet player also. He wrote music in all kinds of

different styles in the 60s and 70s and made a name of himself writing a lot of the most famous

westerns, including Once Upon a Time in the West, which sold over 10 million copies. He worked with

directors like John Carpenter, Quentin Tarantino, Oliver Stone and Warren

Beatty, and he won three Grammys and three Golden Globes and six Baxter, so it done all right.
