So the other day, I sat down to write about the Wall Street panicans. Remember those people,

the ones who were freaking out because the stock market dipped a few points and they were pulling

their hair out and they were crying. I also thought about what do we owe America's children.

I thought, what do I owe my children? What do we owe our

children? And I thought of buying, at one point, I thought of buying a new car, but you know what,

I'm going to keep putting oil into the old car as long as it lasts, because I don't want to get another expense now.

I want to help my kids if I can.

And I think you're like that too.

You care about your kids too.

You want to help them.

Well, how do we help them?

One way is to make sure they're educated. Make sure they read.

Make sure we read to them.

Make sure that they know the classics.

Look, I know you're not going to, you're not going to have them read the Odyssey and the

Iliad when they're 11 or 10.

I would expect it by 13, but that's me.

They have to have some sort of life to be able to appreciate those texts.

But they're out there and they're valid and they should be read.

So what do we know and how do we know it?

Is the question I always come back to.

One of the questions that confounds me, is it etymology or entomology?
