Do you remember when you were a kid on a Saturday morning, no school, you put your jeans on, you ran out the door, the door slammed behind you, the screen, and those first steps out into your backyard, you smell the grass, you smell the air, you hear a bird, there's maybe a Junebug out there, you're a lucky

kid.

And then what happens?

That lucky kid gets older, becomes a young man, becomes a grown man, and then after that,

it's all downhill, baby.

The cane comes out, you start watching commercials on television about pharmaceuticals,

and you realize that you're getting old.

And one thing, when you realize you're getting old,

you're starting to be sympathetic to other old guys like you.

Like Mike Madigan, boss of Chicago for so many years.

The feds want him in prison for 12 years now.

To me, that's a death sentence.

But we'll talk about it.
