Was it just a few weeks ago that the Chicago media was telling you because they wanted to protect

Kamala Harris and Joe Biden that crime was down.

I can think of all the chattering of the chattering classes

telling you crime is down,

you conservatives are crazy,

crime is down.

But you wouldn't tell that to people who lived in the neighborhood.

You wouldn't tell that to Cori Brooks,

Pastor Cori Brooks, who will be our guest

on the Chicago Way podcast today.

His Godson was killed in what we euphemistically call gang violence. It's really violent young

men with guns who are in street gangs who have grown up with no hope and no direction.

I'm looking at the National Crime Victimization Survey.

Crime is up.

About 37% I believe, incidents have reported violent crime, including rape, robbery and aggravated assault is up from 5.6 per 1,000 to 8.7 per 1,000. That's an amazingly high number and you think of it as a number but really there are

human beings at the end of that sentence and those numbers that are screaming in agony and pain and they're bearing their loved ones and they're

looking out the window and sorrow as the cities, the blue cities run by Democrats fall apart and the media itself wed to the

Democrats, gaslight the public. We're seeing this all over in every sector. It's soon
