As Donald takeover of our government becomes more egregious, the resistance movement is getting

louder and louder. One place that is really pushing back against Donald's baseless attacks

is Chicago. For weeks now, Donald has been dangling the threat of a hostile takeover of that city

with no end in sight. As usual, he likes to keep attention

on himself. He likes to be in the spotlight. So we are victims of his will he or won't he.

And the residents of Chicago are making it really clear. They don't care what he decides to do because if he does come to Chicago,

he's going to find out what's going to happen. Protesters took to the streets this weekend to share

this message. So take a look at footage from the protests. First, I want to say to every single one of you on behalf of our community, thank you for standing with us.

We sense your love and we sense your care for people who might be your neighbors nearby or your neighbors far away from you. Every single immigrant is a human.

Every single immigrant has every single right to have their families stay together.

Just as a quick reminder, there is no such thing as an illegal human being.

Cool.

Basically, Chicago is daring Donald to fuck around and find out, and he may just make that happen.

While everyday citizens take to the streets, an unexpected group also plans to protest Donald's threats, and

that would be Chicago faith leaders. Intercity Muslim Action Network, Live Free Illinois, and

new life centers are expected to gather a group of interfaith leaders, bringing together a group

from different backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints in order to denounce Donald's hostile threats

towards the city and the people in it. They're calling for Donald to abandon troop occupations

and instead invest in things that actually make neighborhoods safer, like community-based

violence reduction programs. Now, obviously, these pleas will go unheeded because Donald is not interested

in making neighborhoods safer. He is not interested in reducing violence. He's interested in
