Summary

We’re back on the rat beat! Through WBEZ’s Citizens’ Agenda project, Chicagoans expressed concerns about the large number of rats in their neighborhoods. So we walk you through what you, your neighbor and your elected officials can do to tackle Chicago’s rat problem. 0:08.9	Wow, look at all these rats. Oh, wow. And what's this here?
0:12.3	Oh, some kind of hole. A nice burrow right there. And here's another. So you can see all of the fresh rat feces here.
0:21.2	This is Rebecca Fife, Director of Research at Landmark Pest Management,
0:25.3	taking me on a rodent safari in what she called the raddiest alley in Lincoln Park.
0:30.4	So do you see the really big testicles on this rat?
0:33.6	This is a dominant male.
0:35.4	At the angle, I'm not able to see his testicles right now.
0:38.7	Maybe he'll turn, oh, there they are.
0:40.1	Oh, wow, yeah, goodness, gracious.

0:46.0	Since we reported that story, the rat questions have just kept coming.

1:07.0	It's an effort here at WBEZ to reach out to communities across the city to hear their concerns.

1:15.0	See, rats is a big problem in their neighborhood, and they want to know what can be done about it.
