These are easy times to be a talk show host.

The tough times are when nothing's going on, when the government's not in your life, when momentous decisions are not being made

that could destroy our country. When the republic is not teetering, but alas, that's where we are.

And so here goes. Let me first say in the next segment I'm going to have a

conversation with a mother who along with her husband has been in the news you've seen them the

colstads and they have a 14 year old daughter who decided that she wanted to be a boy. And the government said,

get out of the way. She wants to be a boy. She can be a boy.

And, you know, I don't know about you. I bet you you'd be surprised. You know a family that's going through this all of us do I know a

family where the daughter is early 20s maybe and the mom mom had to take her for a penicectomy or whatever you call it and fly up to Vermont where they just lop it off and it's just very traumatic for a mother. And what's happening is the schools and the

hospitals and the police and the media are all in this. Well you know if the kid wants it if the kids want this same

daughter as you're going to hear

the same daughter has uh...

has it

told people she has terminal cancer in the past.

What's going on is not new, children with mental health disorders.

But what's going on now is instead of just cutting themselves or going to get a tattoo or

dropping LSD now the trend the hot thing and these will pass you know like platform shoes and bell bottoms and you

know whatever else is the hot new thing
