My name is Doug, and this is Doug Loves Minis, the show that loves Chicago, even when winter arrives in September.

Coming to you from a hotel room in Denver, Colorado, which I also love, where I'm doing a sold-out show tonight at Comedy Works.

It's Monday, September 15th. I just spent four glorious, chilly nights in Chicago

where I went to all three days of Riot Fest, the rainy day, the muddy day, and the perfect day.

Got to see no FX, mighty, mighty boss tones, Motion City soundtrack, Me First in the Gimmie Gimmies,

Wu-Tang, Dropkick Murphys, they kicked ass.

Andrew WK, Tegan and Sarah, Social D, my friend's Weezer, and I'm sure I'm forgetting somebody,

or something.

Not roller coasters, Ferris wheels that you could sit in and watch the bands play while you're

in a Ferris wheel.

Riot Fest is coming to Denver this weekend and I can't recommend it highly enough

if you know what I'm saying.

I hope they had a comedy tent to Riot Fest next year.

On Thursday night I did a stand-up show at Zanies

in Chicago, and I played Last Man Stanton with the crowd. The recording is spotty, and one of the

contestants spew some NSFW drunken things. Well, one specific thing. I'll play the audio from that game in a second.

Austin, Texas, this Friday I'm doing Douglas movies as part of Fantastic Fest at the Highball on Lamar at 420.

I'm not sure if you need a festival badge to get in, so check with the Highball or Fantastic Fest
