The Hawks were leading the Central Division-leading Winnipeg Jets with just 3 minutes to go, but a furious comeback led to a Blackhawks loss. Connor Murphy started the scoring in the 2nd period with his 2nd goal of the season. Petr Mrazek stonewalled the Jets for 57 minutes before the Jets finally broke through with the game-tying goal.
