And I mean, it's not the biggest story, but it's among the biggest stories we've had since for agency started mainly because of how it impacts Nick Foles think of most of our viewers listeners are probably up to speed at this point.

But the bears are signing Trevor Simeon the former Northwestern quarterback who's bounced around the NFL.

He's been somewhat successful as a backup. Didn't have the greatest run with New Orleans last year after James Winston got hurt, but I think the biggest thing is what does this mean for Nick Foles and how the bear should handle this? What do you guys think?

Well, on my side, you know, I believe this means Nick Foles is definitely someone that the bears are hoping that they can move from.

I know if they cut him, you say around three million in cap. If you're able to trade them, you get to save a little bit more.

So I'm looking at this as, you know, hopefully they can find someone to kind of be that trade partner, help us out a little bit more in our cap situation.

And honestly, I don't even care to get back and return at least personally. I don't care if it's a conditional six in 2023, a conditional seventh next year's draft is two.

I think the cap savings, I'm just getting away from that contract to just be, you know, the biggest benefit.

But if you can get any additional draft capital back that it's a little bit more like icing on the cake and again, it could be a conditional last pick of the draft. I really don't mind.

Yeah, for me, Adam, it's like where what teams need a backup quarterback right now, kind of just looking at the league. There's been so much quarterback movement.

And a couple of teams that have kind of narrowed it down to it's like what if Nick Foles went back to Jacksonville, right where the bears actually traded that fourth round pick.

And they do have CJ Bethard as their backup currently from Iowa had to bring enough there, but they also have some picks though. And that's what maybe this can get interesting in terms of what potentially you can get for a Nick Foles.

They actually have four six round draft picks. So if you're looking in that realm of like, well, could you maybe trade one of those they have the 180th, 88th, 197 and 198 the Jaguar. So could you trade a Nick Foles for a six round draft pick.

And, you know, with I look at that cards, Carson Wednesday on what you were able to get back for him. This QB market is is weird. Like you traded a third round to get Matt Ryan. What do you get for a Nick Foles at this point.

Who knows, but maybe the Jaguars can be an enticing trade partner, especially because they also have a young quarterback as well.

Yeah, I look, I think the bears all, you know, all due respect to Trevor Simeon, but you're getting worse at back your backup corner back and Nick Foles is still pretty good.
