We're also joined by Chicago Bears Super Fan David (@Its_All_Taken) to talk Chicago Bears 2024 predictions. The guys react to Caleb Williams first preseason start as well and discuss how his composure will impact his play early in the season. Talk about an overhaul. After going just 7-10 last season, the Bears were lucky enough to have the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft thanks to the Carolina Panthers, who traded that pick for last year’s No. 1 overall quarterback Bryce Young. The team decided to hit reset at the quarterback position, Justin Fields was shipped off to Pittsburgh and quarterback phenom Caleb Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner from USC came in to take his place. The Bears immediately turned around at pick No. 9 and took a solid weapon for Williams in wide receiver Rome Odunze out of Washington. They also brought in veteran receiver Keenan Allen in a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers and his tight end running mate Gerald Everett.  The Bears upgraded at running back with the addition of former Philadelphia Eagle and Detroit Lion D’Andre Swift, who brought teammate Kevin Byard with him to replace a departing Eddie Jackson in the defensive backfield. Jonathan Owens will also solidify that safety position. A strong case can be made that the moves this Bears front office has made, could have Williams as the most set up for success No.1 overall quarterback taken in the draft since Andrew Luck.
