Did your elementary school have draconian anti-gum policies?

There were definitely anti-gum policies, and I agree with them.

I mean, at the time, I don't think I was a big gum-chewer at the time, so they didn't really impact me all that much.

But ultimately, like, I don't like stepping in gum.

I don't like encountering gum stuck to the bottom of desks or inside death. So I never really had a problem with it.

I think maybe my confused, I mean, I wasn't a huge gum chore as a child, but I do remember thinking about the gum rule, this just doesn't make sense. It's not fair. It was one of my first real, you know, thought processes of rebelling against authority and the rules imposed
