All right, guys.

So today's episode is going to be a little bit different than what you're used to on the

podcast.

This is going to be just you and I, me wrap on a question, very similar to the videos

that I do in YouTube.

This is an effort to try to

answer some of the questions that I get because I get a ton of them I get a lot of questions

and I wish I really do I wish I could just answer more of them but obviously running a gym and

doing a bunch of other stuff it doesn't always allow me the chance to do that so I figured what

would be kind of fun from time to time is just to answer some questions

on the podcast similar to like I do in the videos. Now, we're not going to change the normal format

of the podcast. We're still going to have guests on and Eugene is still going to be obviously an

integral part of the podcast. That's not what's happening. This is just going to be a little something

extra for you throughout the week. So we'll still have our normal podcast on Mondays. And then at some point throughout the week, we're going to post these up for you,

give you a little something extra. We'll sort of set a date or a day on it later on. I'll let

you know more about that. But I wanted to start this first one off with a story just to kind of get

rolling. It's a story that I get asked a lot. Like a lot of people

that sort of first come into my my little corner of the internet, right? They come in. A lot of

times they're curious, why do people call you Chewy? That's the thing that comes up a lot of times.

I know that I get asked that question. Pretty much every seminar that I go to, someone will come up to me and they'll say, Chewy, where did you get that name from? And so I figured we would start this very first episode

off, this little like a little ramble podcast episode with that, how I got the nickname Chewy.

So to get this name, let's go back to 2003 when I first started doing Jiu-Jitsu.
