Summary

By the time Chevy Chase, the 66-year-old SNL alum joined the cast of Community, he’d earned a rep as an actor with an explosive temper who was difficult to work with. Community creator Dan Harmon was getting a bit of a reputation himself. He’d been fired from a high-profile show for refusing to take notes and for not getting along with his host. And now these two Type-A personalities were thrust together on the same show. What could possibly go wrong? Amid on-set spats, temperamental walk-offs, a vulgar voicemail, and dramatic firings and rehirings, Dan and the cast would wage war on Chevy Chase.
