I am your host, Maddie Lee.

And this week, I have on Cheryl Raest out, she's a sports reporter, covers all the major

sports in Chicago for WBEZ, and she's awesome.

She's been such a mentor to me since I've come here and gotten to know her through covering

the Cubs.

And I knew that she would be an awesome guest because this is what she does and she has

some incredible stories.

Talking with her for this podcast was even more entertaining than I even anticipated, which

was already a high bar.

She went, no holds bar, awesome stories, she's such, she's such a wealth of knowledge on

the subject of really every sport in this city, but we focused on the two baseball teams.

And man, I'm sure we could have gone on for hours with the number of incredible and

hilarious and every other adjective you could describe stories as.

So I'll definitely have her on again, for sure.

I was already planning on that.

Now it's a thousand percent solidified have to have her on again for more of her incredible

stories.

So I'll just get right to it and let her take away the show because she's fascinating
