Leslie, it's a kind of a very timely moment

to be talking about self-driving trucks,

because obviously we've had supply chain issues

for several months, if not more than a year now, particularly in California

with a huge log jam of freight.

And obviously in the news this week, protests in Canada that are now another kind of a rabbit hole

for trucking problems.

Yes, we can only hope that this situation is resolved by the time we put this podcast out, but right now we have automakers that are cutting production and they're warning about delivery

issues because vehicles can't get the dealerships. There's a blockade going on at

one of North America's busiest land border crossings, you know, which is right here at the Ambassador

Bridge in Detroit. Well, one of the entryways, of course, is in Detroit. General Motors just says it's

cancelling production at

Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant

and some no other shifts for GM but Stilantis confirmed on Thursday that it had to shorten some shifts at Windsor and Brampton.

So we're going to see some supply chain issues get worse before they get better. That's right, that's right and I think that this is one of those issues that is not going away. I mean this particular protest we think perhaps might be a blip but what's going on on the West Coast not not going away for a long time as we look to transportation's future

you know it's going to be a long running, long running issue.
