week is the attempt that is brewing even as we speak to defenestrate Liz Cheney.

The minority leader has made it very clear the partly by a thinly disguised hot mic moment

Which I very much doubt was a true hot mic moment.

That is, he knew he was being recorded,

that he's tired of her, he's had it with her.

And the second in command for the GOP, Steve Scalise, has echoed this.

So there is an attempt going on.

I'm going to start with you, David. Liz Cheney wrote an

impassioned piece that appeared in today's print edition of the Washington Post in which she laid out the stakes here.

She said that this is really about whether our democracy,

whether the Republican Party adheres

to the basic, the most basic rules of our democracy and the and there have been

numerous stories in right-wing media that no that's not it it's the Cheney's annoying or that she's too much of a

rhino or that she's a she's too tough on foreign policy questions or she didn't return somebody's phone call.

What's your view?

I mean look this is the easiest analysis in the history of the world this is about

Trump this is about the fact that she rejects him and won't stop talking about it

now you know they may have given her a pass
