I mean, the older I get, the more I feel that our bodies are like conduits for our minds to make love.

And so the actual point of contact might be our bodies, but what's really interesting is what's happening mentally and emotionally, psychologically and all that, exploration.

I think maybe that's a sign of diminishing testosterone or something, because when I was younger, it was much more like, oh, look at that body.

Oh my god, I want to squeeze this.

Was that in your book where you wrote about the transgender person?

Well, he was female to male transgender, but then it took testosterone.

All of a sudden became Ryan Nicodemus overnight.

Because Ryan has like crazy high libido.

And like this new man had now your level of testosterone.

I'm probably not even as high as your testosterone.

And sort of walking around saying, I can't control my thoughts anymore.

Yeah, and it was really notable because the person had been like a very feminist lesbian as a woman, a very offended by men sort of focusing on women's bodies and all that.

Yeah, like she, it was an episode of this American life.

I can't remember the person's name, but yeah, she talked about being on the subway in New York as a woman and seeing a woman she was attracted to and thinking, oh, she looks nice.
