Welcome into the latest edition of ESPN FC. I'm Tom Thomas from the studio today by Shackah

Copa del Rey. But we kicked things off with, of course, news that broke as he went to

a yesterday. Frank Lampard is the new interim coach at Chelsea. Here's what he had to say

about the appointment.

I'm delighted to get that opportunity and I want to be thankful for that to the people

that have decided to give me that opportunity. I'm confident in myself of a good understanding

of the squad. Of course, I've worked a lot with them before, but also the training ground,

the stadium, the fans, what Chelsea fans want. And I'll do my utmost in this period coming

to give them what they want with my own hard work.

In terms of unfinished business, I don't quite see it like that. I was here for that period

of time. I looked back on it with really good feelings about the positives and when I reflected

all those things, I thought maybe I could have done that a little bit better. I think most managers

will be the same. And now I'm here in a different era. And I just want to do as well as I can.

So I don't, it doesn't feel that unfinished business sounds a little bit hollywood. It's like

looking for a great line. I want to work. And of course, I want to help this club as much as I
