This was a tough one.

You know, again, you know, another game we lost, you know, by a couple of runs.

But we got to keep battling.

We've got to keep going.

We've got to stay positive.

Dave Martinez last night following the Nats, 6 to 4 loss to the woeful Colorado Rockies. They had a four-three lead going into the

ninth. Kyle Finnegan, who had not given up a home run in his first 25 appearances this year,

gave up two home runs in the ninth. Can't make this up right now. The Nats are losers of nine in a row.

And of course, what happened over the weekend with Dave Martinez after they had lost

to the Marlins on Saturday, saying, you know, being asked about sort of the production, the

offensive production specifically, and he said, it's never on coaching.

It's never the coaches.

That got a lot of attention, of course.

And this four-game stretch against Colorado, the worst team that Major League Baseball has seen in many years,

at least through this point in the season, what could be coming if they

lose three out of four? They've already lost the first of four. I had Chelsea James, who's

covered the Nats and covered Major League Baseball for years in this town for the Washington Post
