Summary

Chelsea Handler is unfiltered, unapologetic and unlike anyone else. The comedian/talk show host joins Anna and Sim this week, bringing to bear her acerbic wit and take-no-prisoners approach to love and life. In Part 1 of this two-part episode, Chelsea explains why she hates compliments, terms she finds most offensive and what exactly it takes to be her friend. She and Anna also trade break-up stories (you won’t believe how ballsy Chelsea is!) and discuss other dating misadventures. Then, in a new segment, Sim gives Anna and Chelsea twenty guesses to identify a mystery celebrity guest-caller. (See if you can figure out who it is before they do!) After Anna’s unbridled excitement subsides, the trio reflects upon the “intoxicating” effect of fame and the ups and downs of life in the Hollywood spotlight.

He says some really fucked up shit. He does and he's amazing. I haven't seen so like it. But I want to

1:09.4

ask you, do you, how does it feel like, okay, well, I'll be honest with this by me saying that I am

1:16.4

regularly and fucking idiot on talk shows. Like I do, I usually like do a weird version of myself

1:25.1

that's a weird character and I have to I feel like, oh, if I don't hate it, like hit like the

1:31.2

the weird, I don't know, joke like fake thing that happened that was funny on set that never really

1:37.7

happened. Well, like I'm going to be fucking this up and I've seen you do. I know you have

1:44.4

you've been witness. But I know that you, but that's a lot of people have that, but you are really

1:54.0

You know what I mean? Because those those that format is so unnatural to get there and have

1:59.3

five minutes to be like, yeah, it is, but natural, but you are always great at doing kind of,

2:08.4

you were amazing at making someone feel comfortable and liked, but also great at hate, like doing

2:15.2

like gentle hazing. Gentle hazing is a really elegant way to put what I did. Although I try not

2:22.4

to haze my gas, but sometimes it was like impossible not to because you'd be talking to someone,

2:27.2

like and you're just like, oh my god, are you really this stupid? But that only happened,

2:32.7

you know, a few times. I think the subject matter just gets old. It's hard to hear someone

2:36.8

promote something. You want to hear people talk about real shit, you know, even celebrities,
